What a great day we had!!!!

The family and I had such a great day just hanging out and being together. We went and ate at Chili''s (had less than great service (the guy was horrible, don't get me started)) but Ella loved her Mac and Cheese; she literally devoured it!!! The girls and I got to meet one of the managers Marco knows, and he was super nice but for some reason I couldn't tell him how crappy our server was. I guess I didn't want him to be embarrassed since Marco is a GM, I am not sure.

From there we went to walk around the craziness that is Wal-Mart, seriously how can anyone work there right now?? I would hate it!! For those that don't live in the Sherman area, they are redoing the entire store and right now everything is just a hot mess!! They have moved random shelves into aisle's (like the housewares shelves into the aisle's by girls' clothes) and you hardly have room to move, much less find anything......oh, it is so annoying!!!! But for some reason we went to get some movies, popcorn and candy, so we could have a family movie night. We ended up just walking around for like 2 hours looking and talking about things we need for the house and some ideas for Ella's bday gift (new dishes, a ladder, shelves for the garage, a pulley system for Ella's bday pinata, bikes, barbies, etc.)

For our movie night, we moved the futon mattress into the living room and set up a big pallet perfect for a movie night. We popped popcorn and had loads of candy ready. Since Maddi is into Batman, we got the original one (from 1989, with Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson) and the girls loved it!! Ella of course loved the Joker and now wants to be him for Halloween! So I guess Marco and I need to figure out what we are going to be, since we will have a Batman and a Joker. We also watched Mr. Magoriums Wonder Emporium, and it made me want to own a magical toy store or even just a really cool toy store/candy store, I think that would be awesome!

For dinner I made tostadas and tried for the very first time Mexican rice, it came out very salty. I was proud of myself for even trying, but I think I was really the only one that ate any :)

All in all we had a great day together! I am so blessed by my family, and how much love we truly have for each other. I couldn't imagine my life any other way.
