Lucky Ladybugs

Maddi started soccer this spring and is loving it!! Her team is a brand new team and none of the players had played before, plus her coaches had never coached before. That was very hard for me to adjust to, because the coaches had no idea what they were doing. The first practice was horrible and cold, but Maddi was a trooper and did not complain. I was so proud of her. The first game was a disaster, our girls really had no idea what they were doing. But as the season goes on, they are getting better (the coaches and the girls). Today was their 3rd game and they did great. They played defense, they took the ball away, and they won! Plus to top it off, Maddi scored her first goal! Now the other team took it all the way to our goal and then stopped realizing they were at the wrong goal, and Maddi kicked it in!! We were so excited! She is really loving it and that is all I care about.
