Groceries

Groceries are so dang expensive!  Feeding my family of 5 ranges from $120-$150 per week!

I have started couponing and ad matching again to try to save us some money.  I am not an extreme couponer by any means, I just use them to save the extra $.50, and I only use them on things we already buy/use.  If I don't use Lysol, I am not going to buy Lysol just to use the coupon (just an example, I really LOVE lysol and I do use their coupons).
What really irks me about groceries, is the healthier the item, the more expensive it is!  Fruits and veggies are the highest priced items, and that is what I want to buy the most of.  There is a great farmer's market store that has amazing deals on produce, but the closest one to me is 30 miles away :(  That is a long trip for apples and oranges.

Does anyone have any tips on saving money on groceries?  What are your secrets?

If you are stopping by from the A to Z challenge, please take a moment to say hi!  If I get a chance, I will return the favor!

I saw something on pinterest about 52 meals in jars...it requires freezedrying so I am looking into how that would work. Best of luck!
