4th of July Fun

I hope everyone had a fabulous 4th.
We sure did!

We actually had a great few days.  One of my best friends was born on the 3rd, so the kids and I got to hang out with her family the night before.  The hubby joined us when he got off work, and we stayed over WAY too late but it was a lot of fun!  Brayden loves her son Blake, and she has a daughter that is Ella's age and the girls play great together (for the most part).  I love spending time over there, especially when it is just us!

Brayden and Blake :)

We decided to go to Rockwall, which is about 15 minutes from us, to watch fireworks (after we took naps of course). It was the best decision we made. We set up our area with blankets and a cooler filled with juices and snacks and hung out for a few hours waiting on the fireworks. The fireworks were set off over a pond and they were amazing. I don't think that I have ever been that close to fireworks in my life and they were truly stunning. I loved the live music and listening to Maddi sing all the songs. All the kids did great, and I know the girls had a blast!

Daddy was taken a picture at the same time LOL

Maddi almost feel asleep waiting, she should have taken a nap like all the rest of us!

Did you go see fireworks?
What is your favorite 4th of July tradition?
