Quiet

I am a stranger to quiet.  I am surrounded by noises all day everyday.  The tv, children, the radio, the toys that make noise, the dogs barking, the timer going off, and the list could go on and on. 

But there are days, like today, when things seem to fall into place, and the world around me becomes quiet.  Right now, the baby is sleeping, Ella is laying down, Maddi is at school, the dogs are sleeping, nothing is being cooked, and the tv and everything else is turned off.  The only thing I hear is the typing of the keys on the keyboard as I write out this post.

You wanna know something, it is magical!  The silence is amazing and very much needed every once in a while.

So for right now, I will befriend the quiet and enjoy every last second I can get.
